Angelina Jolie probably never heard the phrase "too much information."
A year ago, she eloped to Las Vegas with Billy Bob Thornton. Since
then, she hasn't stopped talking about her sex life. "He's an
amazing lover and he knows my body. He knows things that I don't
know," said Jolie, who apparently knows a lot. In the new issue
of Movieline, the Academy Award-winning actress also revealed details
of a lesbian relationship she had five years ago.
"When I was 20, I fell in love with somebody who happened to
be a woman," she said. "I wanted to be close to her because
I had feelings for her. The reality is, I love people. If Billy
was a woman, then I'd be a lesbian. Simple. If I was a man, we'd
be a gay couple." Jolie, who plays Lara Croft in the upcoming
summer movie "Tomb Raider," seems never to tire of talking
about her husband and what drew her to him in the first place
"When I met him, my first thought was, 'Oh, God, that's the kind
of person I was hoping existed,' " she told writer Lawrence
Grobel. "I'm so happy to have met somebody that makes sense to
me. We've encouraged the things we love about each other. We're
flawed, like everybody, but we know what to encourage."
And they know what to discourage too — like Jolie's former fascination
with S&M. Jolie admitted there was a time when she needed to experience
some violence in her relationships. But now, "I feel enough for
my husband. In the past, I never met anybody that loved enough,
that wanted enough, that was crazy or open enough."
Thornton, apparently, is all of that. But he's also on a short leash.
"I've told Billy if I ever caught him cheating, I wouldn't kill
him because I love his children and they need a dad," she said.
"But I would beat him up."
